HEPA FILTERS: High efficiency particulate Air Filter (HEPA) is an absolute filter and is the integral part of clean room System .It is made out of borosilicate microfibers paper assembled in aluminum housing . The good resin bonding ensures no bypass of air between media and frame . These are available in EU-11 ,EU12 , EU13,EU14 Grade having minimum efficiency of 99.97% down to 0.3 micron.Standard depth is 150 and 300mm etc. The AHU is normally setup in Horizontal or Vertical position outside the Operation Theatre Complex area .The AHU consist of some or all of the below components Pre Filter of 10 microns . Thermal Break profiles with covings. Damper with fresh air cut out. Cooling Coil with Fins. Blower /Fan with motor. Microvee Filter of 5/3 microns. The cooled air is passed through ducting inside the premises. The ceiling of premises will have terminal HEPA filters of 0.3 micron which will give laminar air flow to maintain required class like ISO 8,ISO 7 & ISO 6. The AHU will be designed as per the requirement of the CFM.

POSITIVE PRESSURE SYSTEM (MODULE):

These Laminar Flow Terminal Boxes (Vertical Mixed /Conventional) modules are acknowledged for an easy installation , Compact Size less maintenance and normal consumption of energy .These modules filter out germs ,dust Particles , and prevent entering into the sterile area .To maintain freshness in the hospital operation theatre ,Pharmaceutical industries , this ceiling Mounted type Pressure Modules are Widely Used . These units can be assembled with or without air conditioning to the ceiling .The Suction of the fresh air from outside the OT complex will pass through 10 micron /5 micron Pre-filter s , cooling coil, and then travel through NABM standard /Customized Size (HEPA) 0.3 micron Filter in the operation theatre. This increases the air pressure inside the OT, results in sterile air being continuously flowed out of the OT preventing un sterile air entering inside the OT.
